Thanks
Yes it would be very short term one site.
I might be pretty close to getting the site on our new server going ,just not sure how much code might need to be changed from v6 to v8 and i need to configure some webdna things. (use temporary gateway test mode etc to test) etc. see how it goes
could take a today o=r into tomorrow , hopefully not much more,or at most weekend early next week if unseen issues . getting there. ball is now mostly in my court, my linux person has completed most parts on that end. i just need to reall y check everything and configure some things. hopefully no big suprises.

I=E2=80=99ve just double-checked, and I=E2=80==99m still using WebDNA v8.2 -- perhaps a simple upgrade to 8.5 will solve my problem?

The cutoff version isn't the same for every platform. I don't think OSX supports it until 8.5. I had dynamically linked against the system's ancient OpenSSL library on OSX for quite some time. In WebDNA 8.5 on OSX I switched to statically linking our own OpenSSL in.
I believe some Linux builds as soon as 8.0 support it. It just depends which Linux distribution it was built against. I think 8.2 is probably when all Linux builds supported it.
