The name "HTTP Access" is, however, used in several different software packages and systems. Apache .htaccess files are different from apache2.conf. Brian, please consider asking Stuart for his snapshot, then install it. It should not have any of the problems you're reporting because Stuart configured it before he created it. You may have a few minor changes to make, such as ip address, etc. but that should be all.
