texte = I want to take a moment and thank everyone. You have proved us right! If you make a great technical product, users will help explain the benefits to newcomers and help them thru the growing pains to understand the technology. I can't tell you the number of times that people have talked to me about the volume and quality content that happens on this list. I want to express our (everyone at Pacific Coast Software) heartfelt thanks to everyone here for helping us make this a great product.I also want to take a moment to let you know of the great future in front of all of us. This great product (lacking in documentation) is finally going to get the attention that it deserves. There will be a formal press release tomorrow (of course posted to this list and the world) announcing the new relationship between Pacific Coast Software and StarNine. In short, StarNine will market WebCatalog and WebMerchant, Pacific Coast Software will continue development. I (and everyone at Pacific Coast Software and StarNine) are very excited about this relationship. The quality engineering that we have brought you will finally get widespread marketing. We look forward to being able to bring you even better products in the future.Below is a note from Ed Lejarza - the new product manager for StarNine WebCatalog.... Please join me in welcoming Ed and everyone at StarNine to our little family.---------------- Dear WebCatalog Users:I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all WebCatalog and WebMerchant users to the StarNine family. We have always had a great deal of respect for the folks at Pacific Coast Software and their products, and we're excited about our new relationship. WebCatalog and WebMerchant have long been the performance leaders in the online commerce arena and we expect that the new 2.0 version will be welcomed by sites using Mac or NT Web servers.A few of us here at StarNine have been monitoring the WebDNA-Talk list for the past few weeks and we are very impressed by the loyal support and active participation of all of you on the list. Your eagerness to help others and your willingness to offer advice makes the user experience a positive one. It is you, the user community, that has helped shape and develop the new version. We are looking forward to your continued support.I should introduce myself. My name is Ed Lejarza. I have been with StarNine for over four and a half years starting in Technical Support and moving into the Product Marketing and Product Management areas. I have just been named the Product Manager for WebCatalog and WebMerchant. I am looking forward to the challenge of continuing the development process to help keep WebCatalog and WebMerchant the premier Web commerce solutions. ----------------Please feel free to send any comments/questions back to this list or directly to myself (jayv2@smithmicro.com) or to Ed (ed@smithmicro.com). Thanks again for your loyal support!Jay Van Vark ****************************** Pacific Coast Software | WebCatalog 11770 Bernardo Plaza Court | The Search is Over Suite 453 | http://www.smithmicro.com San Diego, CA 92128 ****************************** 619.675.1106 Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
