texte = Our online store is up and running fine, but we are using dates with the format of yy/mm/dd format and wish to exploit the date range search on the databases. There are several options on how we can handle the move over to mm/dd/yy form.1) Keep our databases the way they are and write an extractor template that would extract the info we wish to search and munge the dates into the proper date format so search would work?2) Write a specialize template that would replace our dates in yy/mm/dd format with dates of mm/dd/yy format and change webcat pref to work that way. I'm just looking for suggestions of which way would be more expedient. Also, if the replace option is the way to go, I'm not sure of how that would work. Can you manipulate date fields in more than one format within the replace action line? Thanks for any help or suggestions?Curt ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | William Curt Eggemeyer Curt@mail.bzzzzzz.com | | BeeHive Technologies, Inc. | | http://www.bzzzzzz.com with a WebCam in Pasadena, California | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
