If youu are uusing RAID, look at the Apple RAID tool with OS8. We have a large server with over 150,000 files on it and it was crashing a lot with an FWB RAID system, as soon as we used the Apple RAID software, no problem. Also, on a number of our servers, we use AutoBoot, and Keepit UP. We let keep it up reboot the server everyday at around 5am. This helps BIG time with the stability of both the WEbSTar and the AppleShare servers, try it out. If you are using a third party Ethernet card, what is it, and what version of Open Transport are you using? Also, ther seams to be some funky stuff with server apps if you have Apple Menu Options installed (known problem with AppleShare IP 5.0)These are things that work for us. Hope this helps.Cheers,Rick WylieKey Options Pty. Ltd.---------------------------------------------------------------------------Key Options Pty. Ltd.P.O.
