Oh, so THAT's what all your questions have been about! :)Natalie, there's a MUCH better way to do what you've been trying to do, and it does NOT involve going back to some old shopping carts and trying to let shoppers pick items from those old carts. If your idea is to save your repeat customers as much time as possible, why not do it as effectively as possible? What you might want to consider doing instead, would be to make WebCat create a special database for each of your repeat customers - essentially a customized mini-store for each customer. Each customer's mini-store would be composed of every item that customer has ever purchased from you -- just the SKU numbers, not the whole product record (you can display that info from [lookup]s in your main product database). Then when they shop with you, they will be selecting items directly from their own mini-store instead of having to go to your main store for their shopping. Do you see the obvious benefit to this setup? This will let your customers choose their items from their own customized selection of products, without them having to enter the main store and shop thru everything on a regular basis. And since their own mini-store contains EVERYTHING they have EVER purchased from you, their mini-store will be a far BETTER source of items to choose from than the [oldcart] method you've been srtrugling with for so long already. This mini-store approach makes each person's shopping experience completely customizable to that individual, and it lets each repeat customer shop from an ideally-customized database of only those products he/she has an interest in.Oh, but what happens when a repeat customer decides to buy something new?Ah yes, that's when she must enter the main store, which would happen after FIRST selecting all the regular items from her own customized mini-store. By making WebCat add any new items she picks from the main store to her own customized mini-store AUTOMATICALLY, this insures that her mini-store always has a complete selection of all the items she has ever purchased - thus making her trips to the main store less and less frequent as her mini-store gets more and more customized to her own shopping needs. If you take this approach instead of what you've been TRYING to do, you don't have to mess with going back into some old cart files to try to make it easy for repeat customers to shop there, and your repeat customers will be *better served* by having a COMPLETE selection of their own favorite items to choose from, instead of choosing from only the items they purchased during their last visit. :)Sincerely, Ken Grome WebDNA Solutions 808-737-6499 http://www.smithmicro.com/webdnasolutions/.
