texte = I'm doing an [appendfile] to a database (offshorelog.db) each time a certainpage is accessed by a user. When I then search that database using thefollowing criteria:[search db=offshorelog.db&eqaccdatedata=[requesteddate]&accdatetype=date&deaccdatesort=1&deacctimesort=2&max=500]the most recent access(es) is/are not shown. By recent, I mean before the lasttime the database was closed manually by me. The only way I can get this towork is to insert a [closedatabase] tag in each of the pages that the usershit. Then this search works as expected. When I look at the database file on disk with BBEdit, the entries are indeedthere, since [appendfile] writes to disk immediately. So is the[closedatabase] tag always required for something like this, or am I missing atag somewhere? -- Gil Poulsen, Webmaster*************************************************************** AltiM@c * Phone: (732) 469-2567 ** 429 St. Giles Court * FAX: (732) 469-5823 ** Somerset, NJ * e-mail: help@altimac.com ** 08873 * WWW: http://www.altimac.com ***************************************************************
