texte = I'm doing an [appendfile] to a database (offshorelog.db) each time a certain page is accessed by a user. When I then search that database using the following criteria:[search db=offshorelog.db&eqaccdatedata=[requesteddate]&accdatetype=date&deaccdatesort=1&deacctimesort=2&max=500]the most recent access(es) is/are not shown. By recent, I mean before the last time the database was closed manually by me. The only way I can get this to work is to insert a [closedatabase] tag in each of the pages that the users hit. Then this search works as expected. When I look at the database file on disk with BBEdit, the entries are indeed there, since [appendfile] writes to disk immediately. So is the [closedatabase] tag always required for something like this, or am I missing a tag somewhere? -- Gil Poulsen, Webmaster************************************************************** * AltiM@c * Phone: (732) 469-2567 * * 429 St. Giles Court * FAX: (732) 469-5823 * * Somerset, NJ * e-mail: help@altimac.com * * 08873 * WWW: http://www.altimac.com * ************************************************************** Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
