texte = While we are on the subject of WebCatalog add-ons, how about some program that could sit on a clients machine... and via some custom protocol (NOT FTP) talk to WebCatalog directly to upload a new database? This would greatly improve using WebCatalog in an ISP environment (more then one customer per WebCatalog machine/programmer) While it isn't exactly ODBC, I'd be greatly relieved if a customer could work in whatever database program they want, crank out a text file, the drag and drop it onto this little utility, where this program would validate the file (looks for tabs or something) then upload it privately, securely, and instantaneously into the live website. This is another upgrade/add-on that I (and I suspect several others) would be willing to pay for. While you're at it, make an installer package so I could preprogram what website, what database, and a password before sending it to the customer.Most Excellent! Brian B.
