Hi Timothy,Make sure to open the HTML documentation for WebCatalog and leave it open in a new browser window when you're working on your WebDNA code. The best page I've found for quick reference is the one at:WebCatalog/WebCatReference/MajorGroups.htmlThis is the Major Groups page, and it has a link to every tag in the WebDNA language. For this situation, the link you need is the Searching link, then the sorting link.As far as your sorting problems are concerned, you don't have any sort parameters in your search string, that's why WebCat's not sorting your results. Try this instead:search.tmpl?command=search&db=catalog.txt&neSKUdatarq=[blank]&categorysumm=T&ascategorysort=1This will sort in ascending order on the category field. Ascending means alphabetically when you're sorting a text field, and all WebCat fields are considered to be text fields unless you add parameters to tell WebCat they are number or date fields instead ... :)Sincerely, Ken Grome 808-737-6499 WebDNA Solutions mailto:ken@webdna.net http://www.webdna.net Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
