texte = Good tip Terry,Hey Pacific-Coast - this kind of stuff in your manuals would be real nice (hint, hint)dan t.ps. yes the searchable talk list archive is a great resource also but for the price of your software I know of many people that are suprised with the below-average documentation. The WebMerchant 22 page Technical Reference is one of the quickest reads on my shelf and every time I read it, I am left wanting more. It would be nice if you doubled your efforts on documentation and ease of use.Just my 2 cents on how you can make this great product a true butt kicker!>>For you Jim, here's what made it finally click for me. Maybe it will help>you too. As per a talk-list suggestion, I put>>[formvariables]>[name] = [value]
>[/formvariables]>>on every page as I develop, as well as on the WebCat sample templates when>I analyzed them. This shows the variables passed along and available on the>new page. Using this simple tip and careful observation, the concept of>passing variables from page to page finally became clear, and with that>mystery resolved, I've been well on my way.>>Terry Wilson>terry@rainbowcreek.com>>Terry Wilson>terryw@rainbowcreek.com>>>
