texte = Hi Serban,If you have WebMerchant you could use something like MacAuthorize orPCAuthorize, which is a piece of software that emulates a POS(Point of Sale)terminal. I'm assuming the EFT you mentioned is the equivalent of a POSterminal. We on the other hand, use a Virtual POS on the Internet, in otherwords a company that specializes in just processing credit cards on-line, theydon't issue merchant accounts they just process the credit cards for you for asmall percentage and you still need to have a merchant account issuedelsewhere. We decided on this solution due to the high cost of obtaining theMacAuhtorize Hub, which is the server version of that software for handlingmultiple merchants, and a license of WebMerchant for each merchant account wehost. Since we are developing an on-line mall and expect to serve a relativelyhigh number of merchants with pre-existing merchant accounts, this seemed likethe logical solution.
