[lookup] still not working

texte = Bob, I tried the code that you suggested that I use, and it is not working. I am not quite sure what I am doing wrong. I tried many different variations of this, trying to find the problem with the code, but no luck so far. The lookup acts as if it is finding the item that is being looked-up in the database even though it is not there. No matter what the value of variable [cpassword] (which is submitted on the previous page), it always shows the first statement (which should be hidden if the content of [cpassword] is not found in the database). Here is the code for one of my attempts: [hideif notfound=[lookup db=AKcustomers.db&lookinfield=custpassword&value=[cpassword]&returnfield=custpassword¬found=notfound]] Sorry, that username already exists, please select a different user name.
