Also, AOL's servers will not load your site if the forward and reverse DNS are not delegated properly (you can't imagine how many sites have screwed up DNS). Since you can often get away with improperly configured DNS elsewhere, you might not even be aware that none of AOL's twelve bajillion users can't even see you!
