any WEBCAT gurus who are also PERL proficient?

texte = Hey there WebCats! Just got back from a vacation, and I'm hoping to tackle a project I've been pondering for a while now - while I'm still relatively refreshed. Sidenote: This posting isn't necessarily completely WEBCAT related, although I'm hoping to make it relevant (ex:WebCatalog still lacks robust/flexible text munging, which is making my PERL -> WEBCAT conversion project a royal pain. I'm not sure if what I need to do can even be done in WebCat...especially as easy as it is done in PERL).Anywho, I'm using a product called Decisive Survey (originally by Decisive Software, they're now owned by MessageMedia) to do e-mail and web-based surveys. They provide a PERL script that takes the web form, formats it as their survey engine wants it (running on a standalone PC, it's actually a compiled MS Access database apparently), and sends it as e-mail (actually it dumps it into a file in the WebCat emailer directory for me, and I use EMAILER to send it along with my normal webcat e-mail) which the survey engine grabs out of a POP3 account.Anyone care to take a stab at helping to convert some of this fairly short PERL code into something that WebCatalog can do instead? (some text munging, formatting in a particular way, etc.)If anyone is good at the REGEXP type of stuff that PERL can do, and can help me translate PERL substitutions and splits into WEBCAT friendly terms, I would greatly appreciate it. It's driving me nuts to have to use both PERL and WEBCAT, especially since PERL seems to be de-stabilizing my main web server, and WEBCAT is (lately) being well behaved. Thanks much for any assistance, I'm really stuck in trying to find appropriate documentation or help elsewhere.TGIF...-- Dan Keldsen - djk@delphigroup.comDirector, I.S. - webmaster@delphigroup.comThe Delphi Group - http://www.delphigroup.com/100 City Hall Plaza - ph: 617-247-1511Boston, MA 02108-2106 - fax:617-247-4957Y2K = Yes 2 Keldsen-------------------------------------------------------------Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server. To end your Mail problems go to
