texte = I know how you feel...The fact that Ken Grome, who has long been one of the most helpful people on this list, and the biggest proponent of webcat on other lists, is so disenchanted bothers me more than anything else.I feel that it is still the easiest to use, best solution out there. But, it is overpriced. Witnessed by the fact that there has been a copy of 3.x on sale on ebay for 2 months that the guy can't unload for $800. Development seems kinda stagnant, MGI has done HUGE things in the last 6 months. There are some really important bugs and changes that haven't been fixed for YEARS. with no commitment or even comment by PCS if they are even thinking about it...Looking at the language, I love webcat. It just 'makes sense' to me, and I like the cross platform nature of it, Though honestly I never use it. but if you want to someday get a job someplace, you might be better off getting to learn PHP, asp or coldfusion.If you want more support, an dcommitment from the developers (and a better price) then I'd probably get websiphon, or maybe MGI. if you want the best, quickest path to a complete web site _today_ then it's still Webcat. but the gap with these other apps is closing real freaking quick...hth-AaronDavid A.
