When you are inside an orderfile context (either implied or explicit), the field [price] from the orderfile will override any field of the same name in the database. The best methodology to follow is to assign the appropriate price at the point a line is added to the shoppingcart (usually through the use of formulas.db).No reward necessary (I've seen pictures of Linda Tripp)...John Peacock____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Price Not Appearing Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 3/2/00 1:37 AMon 03/02/00 12:01 AM, Kenneth Grome at ken@simplewebstores.com wrote:>> Have you compared both pages with BBEdit to see if they are *really* the >> same? I changed the html, but not the WebDNA (see below). Comparing the pages in BBEdit will show that there are differences, but only because of the html changes.I know...I know. You can't believe that it works on one page and not another. I wouldn't believe it, either, but as a newbie, I was careful to avoid changing the WebDNA on something that works. It's only the price value that doesn't get displayed. All other values are displayed just fine. That's what really bugs me. ---%< snip -------------------------------------------------Anyone who solves this one wins a long weekend with Linda Tripp.------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
