I would suggest he go to ActiveState's website and see if they have anything to add about running Perl with PWS. I am not suggesting that it is going to be easy, though. He could try and load the full IIS on his laptop.Good luckJohn Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Re[2]: running WebCatalog under Apache on NT? Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/11/2000 3:53 PMJohn,Actually my co-worker is very familiar with Perl and wants to learn WebCatalog. He will be working with me on some WebCatalog projects in the future and but wants to also have the ability to run Perl so he can still develop some things with the software he is familiar with.So actually the desire is to be able to run WebCatalog on his NT based laptop at the same time as Perl. Apache isn't required. He has also tried the personal webserver and apparently had problems running Perl under PWS.Thanks!Dale-- Dale Therio +49 69 263 19977 office Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Research +49 69 263 11379 fax Jürgen-Ponto-Platz 1 +49 170 934 3610 mobile 60301 Frankfurt, Germany ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
