If IE isdropping some form variables when using SSL, this would explain this behavior. Try reordering the page and see if the two variables that show up missingchange. I suspect that this is what is happening, and is not a WebCat problemat all.As Ken already stated, WebCat processes all tags (not inside [Raw]), so if yousee WebCat commands in a browser, WebCat has not been set up properly. The soleexception to this is that WebCat variables will display in plaintext if theyhave not been defined.HTHJohn Peacock____________________Reply Separator____________________Subject: Re: back button loses cart Author:
(WebCatalog Talk)Date: 4/28/2000 8:12 PMGood question. I'll try your [thisurl] suggestion tomorrow (when I get access to the development machine). This may provide a clue... on a whim, I went to the tearoom example on our server, viewed products and substituted the https url for the add to cart url for one item. Went to check out (still SSL), jumped to the shop some more link (still SSL) and then hit the back button. On the invoice page the [_shipToState] and [_shipVia] tags are now visible (but no others). On the other hand, if I back up to the shopping cart (still https) no tags are visible. So whatever it is, it exists to some extent in the tearoom example.Reg Harris-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .To unsubscribe, E-mail to: To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to
