texte = Has anyone ever done more with generating PDFs from WebCatalog than the simple templates SM provided to generate fax cover sheets and address labels? More specifically, I would like to be able to output the contents of an html page (minus the html code) into a PDF file, while preserving the layout (there are no graphics involved). Has anyone done anything like this before? I downloaded the PDF reference manual from Adobe, but it is 500+ pages in length, and is like deciphering hieroglyphs. I would like to incorporate in into a project I currently have underway, but don't have time to learn it myself. I was wondering if anyone had done something like this before, could point me in the right direction, or might be willing to do it for a fee (last resort).I was able to open the PDF file generated for the fax cover sheet in BBEdit, and view the data that generated that PDF in the source. But, when I similarly tried to open a PDF file created by the Adobe PDF Writer, it was a indecipherable mess. I assume that there are different ways to encode the data; I would be more then happy to figure out the simplest and most straight-forward method. The PDF files to be generated will only be about 4 to 5 pages in length. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.Thanks,Dennis ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
