I guess it's kind of like being a shareware author, everybody uses shareware. 2-5% of people pay for shareware. The time investment in writing in a clear and concise manner, along with the experience needed to write such a guide makes to limited to a few people in this group. I'm not saying that to be arrogant, but it is an accurate and true statement. On top of that, you have to figure out how many copies you can sell to recoup your investment of time. I estimate I could sell less then 100 copies. Some people think they know everything, some people wouldn't spend the money (I estimate it would have to be about $99 for a PDF to even get close to break even vs. selling the same time being a programmer), and some people will share, thus depriving yours truly of funds needed to eat lunch, and I've already done the starving artist part of my life...But for all of that pessimism, I am still plodding along on my book, adding and incrementing it. I'm up to about twice the content and am just beginning the e-commerce functionality info now. I just don't have the new content online anywhere at this time.
