The install program seemed to do a copy instruction rather than a move instruction.-----Original Message----- From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com] On Behalf Of Le Pham Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 5:47 PM To: WebDNA Talk Subject: Re: I don't think my install worked Hi:Go to your httpd.conf and modify it as below: Step1: Go to section LoadModule and add the line LoadModule webcatalog2_module /the full path to/WebCatalogEngine/mod_webcatalog2.so Step2: Go to section AddModule and add the line: AddModule mod_webcatalog.cpp Step3: Open file srm.conf ( in some cases it is also the file httpd.conf ) and go to section AddHandler and add the line AddHandler webcatalog2-handler .tplAfter you are done all of these, restart Apache, start WebCatalog by running the script WebCatalogCtl (it is located under WebCatalogEngine) Then try to see if you can browse to http://yourserver/WebCatalog/Le ----- Original Message ----- From: Doug To: WebDNA Talk Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 2:34 PM Subject: I don't think my install worked > Below the line is the result of my install: > ___________________________________________ > > Prepare to install WebCatalog ..... > Installed WebCatalog documents into directory: > /usr/local/www/vhosts/chefrevival.com/WebCatalog > Installed WebCatalog into directory > /usr/local/www/vhosts/chefrevival.com/cgi-bin/WebCatalogEngine > cp: /usr/local/www/conf is a directory (not copied). > sed: /tmp/httpd.conf.35566: No such file or directory > ./install_WebDNA.sh: cannot create /usr/local/www/conf: is a directory > cp: /usr/local/www/conf is a directory (not copied). > ./install_WebDNA.sh: cannot create /usr/local/www/conf: is a directory > > Modifing WebCatalogCtl... > /usr/local/www/vhosts/chefrevival.com/cgi-bin/WebCatalogEngine/WebCata > lo > gCtl start: WebDNAMonitor started > > +--------------------------------------------------------+ > | You now have successfully installed the WebCatalog | > | under apache server.
