texte = I am working on just such a system. For Quickbooks even. But the programming has taken months (part of the reason I haven't been very active here) and as such, it is very expensive. To put it in perspective, it replaces a full time customer service rep, and costs about the same (but after the initial payment you get to keep using the software, unlike the person who constantly wants to get paid...oh and the software works 24x7 dealing with up to 25 or more people concurrently, and if you have that kind of traffic, you can afford in house programmers working full time on the site :)Anyway, I do question the people who want to automate the heck out of their company. Is this really cost effective for your volume? Who checks the orders for fraud and stupid customers accidentally making duplicate orders? Other questions of Logistics abound... Brian B.
