texte = The WSDL Wizard is currently included in Developer Edition and Enterprise Edition. It is dependent upon two basic pieces of new 5.0 functionality: the XML/XSLT processors, which are enabled in all editions; and, a special set of WSDL tags in the WebDNA engine, that are only enabled in the Developer and Enterprise Editions. Now, that all being said, I brought up yesterday that late in our release cycle, we ran into browser based issues related to the treatment of DOM objects within iFrames. While the implementation adheres to the HTML 4.0 spec, it appears that various browsers don't with respect to the sharing of DOM objects between different iFrames. Because of this, we adopted an 'interim' strategy that created a link to a hosted instance of the WSDL Wizard so we could address these browser issues quickly and make them available broadly ... then we will roll up these changes in the 5.0.1 maintenance release that will contain this and the Java HTML editor, along with miscellaneous bug fixes for any issues that may be reported. These browser DOM issues are just about resolved ... we're testing the latest changes now. Sometime next week, we will update the online WSDL Wizard, and will also make a zip/tar of the templates available on the DRC for anyone that wants to download them locally. If you want to use the WSDL Wizard today, you need to be using IE 6.0.026. Next week, it will work on just about all of the most common browser versions. I know someone out there is going to ask why we didn't just wait to release 5.0 until we resolved these browser issues with the wizard. Simply this: there was too much other valuable functionality in 5.0 to hold hostage when the Wizard is something that at least initially would be used by a handful of people. The very short term restriction to use IE 6.0.026 seemed a reasonable trade off in order to make the rest of the product functionality broadly available.Phil B.------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
