We also have two implementations of systems where the images are = uploaded and then processed on the server to a set of pre-established guidelines. These implementations are designed for volume processing of photos for = the sites in question, not for interactive user-driven editing. The two apps = we use are Reaconverter and JASC's ImageRobot. Both operate in a commnad = line mode on Windows. Of the two, Reaconverter is more flexible in that the config files that drive the processing output are simple text files that = you can of course manipulate with a WRITEFILE.
