texte = We moved to OSX and current WebDNA versions, and our problems with crashing have disappeared. We were always on the edge with OS9, and used a reboot device from Sophisticated Circuits to catch the freezes. We have found that additional memory that was a "special deal" when we bought the machines can be a problem - cheap memory, we think. RAMJET memory seems to be better - OS9 appears to be subject to the dreaded "memory leak". Using the Sophisticated Circuits device and software we rebooted every night, that helped. We eventually gave up and upgraded - we have 4 servers, and run election systems that take 12 million hits in a week after election night on an array of servers, so freezing was a big deal. No definitive answer, but some ideas.
