Mostly I have to get things configured on this new iMac so I can use it for my webdna programming and development work, so it can replace my old iBook running OS 9.2, that's why Apache and permissions issues are new to me so late in the game. I think I'm one of the last guys in the programming world to still be using OS 9.x until two days ago ... ;) Sincerely, Kenneth Grome www.kengrome.com On 04 1, 05, at 12:58 AM, Jesse Proudman wrote: > > On Mar 31, 2005, at 8:55 AM, Kenneth Grome wrote: > >> Hi Guys, >> >> Thanks for all your help with the "webdna serving .html files" issue. >> I failed to get it to work in the shell even after creating a root >> password, so I downloaded BBEDit Demo and did it that way. >> >> I still have some problems with permissions, for example my writefile >> contexts don't work.
