texte = Hi Mark, You should be able to just put a space in there and then have it appended with the space intact: [Search db=price2.txt&eqTitledata=[blank]][numfound] [ReplaceFoundItems]Title=[Description1] [Description2][/ReplaceFoundItems] [/Search] or you should be able to use %20: [Search db=price2.txt&eqTitledata=[blank]][numfound] [ReplaceFoundItems]Title=[Description1]%20[Description2][/ReplaceFoundItems] [/Search] I'm guessing that you have a tab character in there that perhaps isn't showing up in your text editor (if it's not set to show such things).
