texte = Hello, I have a somewhat complicate shipping need that is starting to confuse me... maybe If I run it past you all I can get some idears. I have upgraded a sitebuilder store into a store that has "members" that can also add and edit products. They have their own directories where they upload there product shots etc.. Anyway, I have also added to this store, UPS and USPS shipping integration. Now, since these members ship from their own locations, we need to get it so that the quotes are from their location. Fine, so we store the members zip code and use that in the origin of the quoting process. Not a huge problem. The tricky part (the part I'm having trouble with) is that, in this store, one can purchase products from different members and have them all in the same cart. So, how do we get proper shipping to account for each separate quote? Something tells me I am either going to have to simplify this shipping process, or totally rewrite it so that it quotes each product seperately, then adds all the totals together for the final shipping price. Then there is the backend to deal with.... seperating out the shipping for each member so that I know how much to pay them. :-0 (TEXTA-Z maybe!). .... a corona sounds really nice right about now.
