I was thinking how do you put up a clickable map from, say, the advertisement database. In this case, what you would do is put the normal 'href' link into the map definition file. You will have to edit your mapserve definition file (or enter it in whatever software you use to define the clickable regions). So, in your HTML document, you would have: ...which is normal for a clickable image map. Then, in your mapserve map definition file, you would have something that looks like this: # default destination default default_destination.html # clickable image rect /WebCatalog.acgi$newcart?template=Search.html Apologies if you've already tried this. I have not; this is what I would guess would be the solution. It may depend on what server and version you are running whether this would work or not. This may have to do with the 'back-end cgi' thing, which I don't know much about. You should also be aware that under the new Netscape, you can do client-side image maps, which would eliminate this double-cgi thing. Hope this helps. -CC-+-------------------------------+--------------------------------------+ | ^^ Two guys walk into | CC Chamberlin, Multimedia Specialist | | ___OO_ / a bar, which is real| Agricultural Communications, NMSU | |- \ funny 'cause if one +--------------------------------------+ | `-v-v-v guy walks into it |There are things which seem like | | | you'd think the | miracles to men who have not studied | | `^-^-^-^\ other guy'd see it.| Mathematics. -Archimedes- | +-------------------------------+--------------------------------------+ | Hey, my opinions are my own, not those of my employers, ok?
