texte = Hi, I'm trying to filter serial numbers and have run into a glitch in my programming. Can anyone see how to fix it? Here's what I'm trying to do: Step 1: Generate a list of serial numbers using a standard search [search db=myfirst.db] [text] TheList =[/text] [founditems] [text]TheList=[TheList][SerialNumberFromDatabaseOne] [/text] [/founditems] Step 2: Compare this list to a 2nd list of serial numbers, also generated by a search, and include only serial numbers that are on both lists [search db=mysecond.db] [founditems] [showif [url] [TheList][/url]^[url][SerialNumberFromDatabaseTwo][/url]] The problem I am running into is that some of the values included in [TheList] are very long (i.e. 79873966092380) and some of the values for [SerialNumberFromDatabaseTwo] are very short (i.e. 3966) so on occasion the value of a "SerialNumberFromDatabaseTwo" is found WITHIN a value of a SerialNumberFromDatabaseOne that appears on "TheList" so data for serial numbers that don't "match" is included in my results. Is there any way to allow the value of a "SerialNumber" to be shown only if it exactly matches an entire serial#? Thanks!
