texte = well joefred is not a valid mail server. We don't accept mail from servers that don't have a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Some services even test that a proper dns reverse is setup before taking mail from a mail server. Being that your also on a DHCP some mail servers reject that as well, though not the lion share. I assume your trying to get mail to your gmail address? Do you use OS X "Mail" program for sending and receiving mail? I ask this because many isps block port 25 on their dhcp networks. This means you have to use an alternate port for sending and this would be done in your "Mail" program. If your using the web interface for sending and receiving mail then you wouldn't even notice this problem until you tried to setup up your own server on a DHCP network. If you want I can help you test this by setting my mail server to accept mail from your server temporarily, since the ip will change this won't last. Anway at this point we can see if your server even attempts a connection to our network. hit me off list to setup this test.
