They were never really advertised or pressed. It was also expensive back then to acquire them. I would not be surprised if not many people have it in use. I'm not sure what edited templates you marketed, but I would not be surprised if this kind of thing wasn't used in mass either. It is, by nature, a limited use product. I haven't used it myself, though I never had the > $5K at that time, which was the entry level price, to be able to use it. Upon re-introducing the product into the marketplace, we reduced the price by almost a SIXTH of it's previous cost. This was not an easy decision to make after writing the check to acquire the intellectual property! But, we knew you all would appreciate it, so we went forward with it. ;-) As far as it's validity goes, yes, it *does* have it's place and I have been thinking of how I may use it today. I think my forum will be the first of my projects to find a home in a WebDNA CMS. This will give me a chance to become more familiar with it, and it will provide a service that is needed for my forum development. From there, I may start to use it with some of the more complicated client sites that I have, and I may open up some open source projects for the community with it. I would be happy to make one of those open source projects a community CMS!. (confusing I know... A CMS housing a CMS! ;-) WebDNA's CMS is not for everyone, and it's use is limited to sites that need that extra assurance that their code and development is secure. Leaving it in it's own edition is good for this reason. It makes the commerce edition more affordable by not including things that many people will not necessarily need. At the same time, it is easy and affordable to upgrade licenses if they do decide they need it later. Donovan -- Donovan D.
