I appended a line: 00,10,20,30,40,50 * * * * curl http://www.yourdomain.com/your/file.html --connect-timeout 10 Then, on that "file.html" I added: [appendfile file=hitLog.txt][ipaddress][date][time] [/appendfile] Then, typing in a terminal: tail -f hitLog.txt you can see that the cron job is indeed hitting the file every 10 minutes.
