texte = Hi Dan, Thanks for the input. I came up with this to rewrite a header file for the db. [writefile test.hdr][ListFields sasjcmls_res.db][FieldName] [/ListFields][/writefile] It seems to work but now I notice that I still have to cut out the original header file from the db. I'm guessing now that I'm using a header file with the db I can cut out the old headers by deleting everything front start of the file to the first return? Also, does anyone know if there are illegal characters you should not have in a header name?
