Encrypting info is a must these days if that stuff is going to hang around your server, but you don't need 6.1b04 to do it. You can manually encrypt stuff. If you are building stores using SiteBuilder, the automation feature may be nice.... Also factor in that 6.1b04 is still a beta offering.
