texte = Terry, The site you suggested says: "If AutoWebCheck detects any irregularity in the availability of your web site, you will immediately receive an e-mail warning." The error I described did NOT make the page unavailable, so I don't think the service you use would have reported the error I encountered. What is needed in my situation is a service that looks for specific text in the page and then sends an email when that text exists. The text I'm referring to might be something like "Error: webdna cannot find the XXX database" or "Error: webdna cannot find the XXX template" or whatever these particular webdna error message looks like in the errormessages.db file.
