FlexMail has a warning about doing this, and I imagine the same reasons apply to WebCat2 Emailer as well. AIMS apparently prefers to receive mail from another machine. However, this is *not* a problem! It actually makes sense to designate another SMTP mail server on the internet as yourWebCat2 Emailer mail server. Since all SMTP mail servers accept mail from any source, then pass it on to the final destination, I would suggest that you designate WebCat2 Emailer to use a mail server close to you, such as your ISP's mail server, for example - and don't change it unless your ISP is unreliable or goes out of business ... :)Sincerely, Ken ------------------------------------ To leave this talk list send an email to macjordomo@smithmicro.com with BODY unsubscribe WebDNA-Talk ------------------------------------ Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
