texte = Wow, so much material to respond to. I'll stick with just=20 two though. 1. WSC has repeated stated that they aren't in the=20 application business, and are leaving things like CMS,=20 Shopping Cart System, Sitebuilder, etc. etc. available to=20 developers like you and me, so we can create kick ass apps=20 and sell them to other users, much like all the stuff=20 available in php. So don't hold your breath thinking WSC=20 is going to come up with a replacement for the old=20 commerce system.=A0 2. As for what is the appeal of the new version: =A0I have=20 no urgent plans to move my existing sites to fastCGI; they=20 do fine right where they are. However, I look forward to=20 being able to develop NEW sites with the fastcgi version,=20 and having them hosted where ever the client wants them.
