Unfortunately, MySQL is the only native database API within WebDNA right now. If you were to use Postgresql, you'd have to use the old ODBC drivers, which would result in slow performance as well as you'd possibly run into issues. Fortunately, I like using MySQL, so it doesn't hinder me too much. PostgreSQL would be a great addition if WebDNA ever gets the resources/time.
