I could not get it to install or run on CentOS 6.2, and never even tried on CentOS 6.3 Then I got a newer build back in June, but that turned out to be a complete disaster. But I tested, and well documented a bug so the WSC could find and fix it. I was very glad to help with this testing. Anyway, bug fixed with the "pre-gold" version... and running solid. In fact, I had to take a leap of faith the day before Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey and Connecticut back on October 29, 2012. One of my clients is a utility company in Connecticut, and they needed to have an operational website. Since my own data center is also in New Jersey, I had to set up a CentOS 6.2 server with GoDaddy overnight and get the website moved. It's that utility company's website that's been working on that server ever since. Oh, it's a "economy" VPS too. My field test pretty much proves to me that GoDaddy is a viable hosting option using their bottom of the barrel VPS solutions. -Matt On 2/27/2013 4:11 PM, Kenneth Grome wrote: >> From my testing, only the beta version of WebDNA that I >> got directly from WSC worked correctly on CentOS 6.2 and >> 6.3 > But you were successfully using WebDNA 6.2 on CentOS 6.3 > before you installed the WebDNA 6.3 beta, correct? > > Or is WebDNA 6.2 incompatible with CentOS 6.3? > > Sincerely, > Kenneth Grome > WebDNA Solutions > http://www.webdnasolutions.com > WebDNA Programming and Linux Server Administration > > --------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > archives: http://mail.webdna.us/list/talk@webdna.us > Bug Reporting: support@webdna.us > > > > -- > Matthew A Perosi > Corporate Consultant > Mobile Marketing Expert > Senior Web Developer > SEO Analyst & Educator > matt@psiprime.com > > Psi Prime, Inc. > 323 Union Blvd. > Totowa, NJ 07512 > > Direct: 888.872.0274 > Fax: 888.488.5924 > > http://www.perosi.com Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
