I needed it to build certain features in Point of Sale systems to support a chain store with almost 30 outlets, each store having 2 to 3 POS. They needed a way to have the POS features we are building, run as a standalone in the event of a network connectivity failure to the central server. Then there was the case of developing interfaces for set-top boxes .yet another opportunity that could do with a runtime version. I would really go for it if a runtime version of WebDNA ever does come out. Very unlikely but one can always dream ..;-) Cheers Terry Nair From: C. I have clients that I could do so much with, but they won't put data on the internet even with a secure server. I supposed it would have to have a little web server built in, but it would be so much easier than convincing some of these companies to install ISS or whatever on their network or adding a box just for WebDNA. A network version would be even better, and I would pay for those each and every time and bill the client. One price for a single computer, more for the network version. Christophe/Donovan?
