"Apple: We never stop lurking." -- anyhow, I'm still up on the latest public WebDNA info and my full-time job involves working on and modernizing a WebDNA system that was built by one of you almost 15 years ago. Point is: I'm still around. I've had an idea clanging around in my head for over a decade and I finally decided to put it on paper and see what happens. I'm reaching out to the list before (if?) I take it live since the project involves WebDNA and your feedback is valuable to me. Basically I'd like to know a) if you think this is a good idea and b) would you use it, and any reasoning behind your opinions if you are willing to share it (Is the idea flawed? Am I asking for too much money? Too little?, etc.). Any and all feedback, positive or negative, is appreciated. DISCLAIMERS: ----------------------------- 1) Please note: I AM NOT asking you for money. If you are inclined to fund this, great, if not, that's fine too. This is not about seeing if I can hit the lottery, this is about creating something that is hopefully useful. What is most valuable to me is your honest opinion and feedback. 2) Recognize that whether or not this gets funded, the publicity for WebDNA via Kickstarter can only be a good thing for all of us. 3) To be clear, this is a personal project, I do not work for/with WSC and WSC is not involved with this (they are hearing about it right now along with you). 4) Please take the poking-of-fun at WebDNA as just that, poking fun. It is meant to be lighthearted and make people laugh. P.S. Thank you to Stuart and Govinda for the feedback they've already given me. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/696787766/1426912184?token=6c475a64 Thanks and I look forward to your feedback, -- -Dan Strong New World Creative LLC http://www.NewWorldCreative.com --------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
