I believe ssl is from port 42 but it definitely is another port and therefore does not affect the www.abc.com. What about if your running mutlihomed www.abc.com and www.xyz.com and both want secure services. What then? Obviously I can specify another port and run another copy of ssl, but how does www.abc.com know it's port 42 and xyz know its port 43? and . . . How does one set up webcat to handle this scenario? I have the coming in a month so I might as well dive in now.By the way my client was really impressed with the speed of his searches. He was very worried when he found out he was running on a mac. But since the kludgy file system has little to do with webcat's performance I look good. We also use another product, I don't want to lasso anybody into an argument so I wont mention it here. Webcat beats it hands down. Thanks guys for making me look good.
