Generating unique SKU from [cart] - Still Stumped...

texte = Thanks for the help Ken but I still can't get it. I've stripped out everything I could to try to isolate the problem but still no-go. Here's the code from my add_record.tmpl file:
When this file executes everything appears to work fine (ie. no errors in either Webstar or WC2 logs) and the catalog.txt is updated but the fields where I'm asking for a cart and date value to be inserted contain the literal text [cart] (in the sku field) and [DATE %y%j%H%M%S] (in the title field - I added this purely to see if the problem was cart specific).My configuration is: Web* 2.0 (8mb allocated) WC2 b15 acgi (4mb allocated) PMAC 9500It appears that the acgi is processing the file fine but ignoring the commands inside []. Any ideas?
