1. I reimaged my Cloud = with Ubantu 14.04
2. Loaded server WebDNA 8.2 (very easy install = BTW)
3. Created a local mysql database
4.= Then ran all my connect strings to test

Could very well be a firewall problem, = something in the back of my head is reminded about port 3306 on standard = Ubuntu installs being blocked.
Remember to reboot after you make any config = changes.
Getting closers. WebDNA 8.02 is installed on Ubantu = 14
WebDNA works=E2=80=A6 but connecting to = remote MySQL 5.7 is not. Either is remote MySQL 5.6.

The code works perfect on my Window2008 WebDNA 6.02 server = when calling an external MySQL 5.6 server.
