texte = I am displaying a WC text field in an HTML form as in
. Some of these fields are severalparagraphs.I want to preserve the blank lines in TEXTAREA boxes when you type thereturn key for a paragraph break. However, after using this form toinsert a paragraph break, then replacing the record and then reloadingthe record, the blank line is gone and the text runs together, thoughthe paragraph break is still there only invisible. It would be helpfulif the database could preserve this field such that when the field isreloaded into the TEXTAREA box it shows the blank lines instead (makingit easier to edit). I have noticed one version of Netscape showing arectangle in place of the blank line, though another version hides thosetoo. To see for yourself go to www.jacksonhole.com/update.html and follow thelink to update a page. User name Guest and password guest. Edit afield to insert blank lines, submit, then reload the form. They aregone.
