I = am thinking that it might come from a misbehaving HDD, just a thought. = Besides that I am left with absolute no clue for now.

Palle,

If you = think it might be bad hardware, especially a
bad hard = drive, please make a backup immediately.

I = barely got a backup made one time when a hard drive was
about to fail. I was very lucky because the hard drive = came
to a screeching halt a couple of hours later!
