> Thanks Ken and Grant for your quick replies. I was following the thread lastnight on all the shownext stuff that was being discussed; although that wasonly relating to formatting and not to the URL length problems I was having,it was helpful. The length of the hyperlink was indeed the problem and I don'tknow why I didn't pick up on it earlier. So for the benefit of anyone whomight make use of this or is still as frustrated as they were last night, I'llpost what I came up with. My search results pages now display XXX number ofrecords found matching your search criteria (items X to X shown) at the top,and two buttons side by side at the bottom that say Show Previous Group(X-X) and Show Next Group (X-X). Sure beats a list of 26 hyperlinks. This displays the stuff at the top of the page:[showif [math]([startAt]+([max]-1))[/math]>[numFound]]
[numFound]item(s) matching your search criteria were found[showif [numFound]>[max]](items
[startAt] to
[numFound] shown)[/showif]:[/showif][hideif[math]([startAt]+([max]-1))[/math]>[numFound]]
[numFound] item(s)matching your search criteria were found[showif [numFound]>[max]] (items
[startAt] to
[math][startAt]+[max]-1[/math] shown)[/showif]:[/hideif]And this gives me the buttons at the bottom:
[ShowNext method=POST&position=begin&max=1][/ShowNext] | [ShowNext method=POST&position=end&max=1][/ShowNext] |
