That is why probably many of us jump on the latest beta of webcatalog, even if it causes us problems elsewhere. It keeps things exciting:) My 2 cents is that if you split the list, traffic will migrate to the beta list where the power users will hang out and leave the gold list to just be a trickle. Now if you can enforce the issue of discussing gold tags and use to the gold list and beta tags and use to the beta list then this is moot.
