Also, perhaps you would know. Since the GET method seems to work fine (haven't had a problem w/ the 256 characters so far), is it safe to use for ?purchase? A couple of days ago Paul asked if that doesn't present a security problem since the URL information includes the CC information (#, type, date)! I don't know the answer to that...and haven't seen a definitive response on this list.Regards,Dale Kenneth Grome wrote: > > >John, I tried the dummy variable as the first parameter, but now I'm getting > >the same error messages when viewing SOURCE that I first wrote to this list > >about over a month ago: > > Does it work properly otherwise? I wanted to leave enough time to be sure...but emailer is no longer getting and mailing the purchase notifications (I have set up for note to buyer and another to me). Also, while I'm sent to the secure invoice (GiftInvoice.tmpl) page while using NN 4.04, I'm no longer sent to the SSL server for a secure version of my ThankYou (GiftTY.tmpl) page. > > >I'm using NN 4.04 on my Mac, and have left the changes on my site today (Sat., > >the 13'th), so you can check this out for yourself at: > > > >http://www.me2u.com > > I cannot test it because it doesn't accept test in the cc field. > You'll have to give me a dummy cc# to enter, or else change your > WebDNA to accept the word TEST before I can run the test on your site > that you're suggesting ... :) Sorry...I should have told you to leave the cc# field blank (it will submit with a blank), and enter dummy info in the rest of the fields.
